Information we collect

When you create an account, PriceCut processes your email address, authentication records, favourites, shopping lists and basic service activity. We do not require payment-card information for the comparison service.

How we use information

Information is used to authenticate you, synchronize your saved items, operate and secure the service, respond to support requests and improve product performance.

Service providers

PriceCut uses infrastructure providers including Vercel for application hosting, Supabase for authentication and database services, and Amazon Web Services for product-image delivery. These providers process information under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account remains active and as reasonably required for security, legal and operational purposes. You may request account deletion by contacting support@pricecut.lk.

Security

We apply access controls, encrypted connections and database row-level policies. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should use a strong, unique password.

Your choices

You may use catalogue search without an account. An account is required to synchronize favourites and saved lists across devices.
